About Us
The Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) manages and maintains all public parks, open spaces, trails, and recreational facilities across the United Islands of Alto. Established in 2016, DPR is responsible for preserving Alto's natural landscapes while providing residents and visitors with access to outdoor recreation and community programming.
From the summit trails of Mt. Manchester to the waterfront promenades along Cape Alto, DPR oversees more than a dozen public parks and green spaces across the islands. The department also manages community event spaces, athletic fields, and public gathering areas throughout Alto's municipalities.
