Public Records

The City of Alto is committed to transparency and public access to government records. Residents, businesses, and members of the public may request copies of city documents through the City Clerk's Office.

Available Records

The following types of records are available upon request:

  • Municipal ordinances and resolutions
  • Building permit records
  • Property assessment data
  • Business license records
  • Budget and financial reports
  • Public works project documentation

How to Request

Submit a public records request to the City Clerk's Office:

Please include a clear description of the records you are seeking and your preferred format (digital or paper copy).

Response Time

The City Clerk's Office will acknowledge all requests within 3 business days and provide an estimated completion date. Most requests are fulfilled within 10 business days.
