Pay Your Bill
The City of Alto offers several ways to pay utility bills, property taxes, permit fees, and other municipal charges.
Online Payments
Residents can pay most city bills online through the Alto Payment Portal. Accepted payment methods include credit cards, debit cards, and electronic bank transfers. Online payments are processed within one business day.

Utility Bills
Water and electric utility bills are issued monthly by the Department of Water & Power. Bills are due 30 days from the date of issue. Residents who need to set up a payment plan should contact DWP customer service at 456-ALTO-DWP.
Property Tax
Property tax payments are due semi-annually. For assessment information, exemptions, and payment schedules, see the Tax Collector's Office.
Other Fees
Permit fees, parking citations, and other municipal charges can be paid online or at the City Hall Cashier's Office. Reference numbers are required for all payments.
